Hunger, Primordial

She was hungry for human touch, intimacy she hadn’t had in time out of mind.  She was hungry for change, her biggest fear.  She was hungry for rage and wind and fire and chaos, warring in her mind  for thousands of years. She was hungry for the blood of her enemies, even the blood of innocents.   She was satiated when all those  hungers dissolved in a firestorm of pain and blood,  the night of a  full harvest moon.
